Founder and Managing Director, Alex Mackenzie has been maximising health and fitness clubs income for over nineteen years. From exercise professional to managing gyms and studios. Her last post before forming CHEK UK in 2000 was Fitness Manager at The Harbour Club in South West London, where she experienced outstanding results by implementing the CHEK Philosophy, which inspired her to make a difference with the exercise and health industry as a whole. Out on the downs or on the beach each day with Harvey her handsome hound, loves movies, good organic food, travel, contemporary dance and anything esoteric. Exquisite at sunbathing and sleeping. ۩ Joan Craggs – Customer Services - Can fix anything!
۩ Nadine Lapworth – Finance Whiz
Nadine joined us in June 2005 after moving to Brighton from Jersey where she has been working in the finance industry since graduating in International Business and Spanish. She has travelled extensively in South and Central America and spent time studying and working in Spain. She was a keen sea rower but nowadays practices yoga. Nadine has recently completed HLC I and is applying what she has learned to her own life and her partners, whilst working on the rest of her family. When not mulling over debits and credits she use to enjoy Brazilian dancing and playing the djembe drums however, Nadine gave birth to Maisy in November 2007, so is rather busy being a Mother.
Jenny Reeve - Administrator Extraordinaire
After completing HLC 1 which was amazing, my interest in a healthier lifestyle has grown and I enjoy yoga. In my small amounts of spare time I enjoy visiting National Trust Properties however, my favourite pastime is shopping.....and lots of it.

I joined the company in
March 2004, a Scot who was transported to England by my half French/half English
hubby, but four years on I think I’m getting used to the language difference and
the fact that I don’t need my passport every time I leave.
